Jeremy Sisto will star alongside Larry Bryggman, Michael Hayden, Ali MacGraw and Julianna Margulies in the upcoming Broadway production of Festen. The play is scheduled to begin performances at the Music Box Theatre on March 23.
Sisto recently starred in Dead End at Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theatre. His theatrical career began in Chicago at age six when he appeared in Tennessee Williams' last play A House Not Meant to Stand In at the Goodman Theatre. His other theatrical credits include Galileo, Take Me Out, Breaking the Code, The Accrington Pals, King Edward II, The Assignment and the solo show Sanguine. His film credits include Clueless, White Squall, Grand Canyon, Thirteen, Angel Eyes, Without Limits and Suicide Kings. He also notably played Billy Chenowith, the manic-depressive younger brother of Rachel Griffiths' Brenda Chenowith, in the HBO series Six Feet Under.
Festen, directed by Rufus Norris, is scheduled to officially open on Broadway on April 9. In addition to those previously named, the cast of Festen will feature John Carter, Diane Davis, Keith Davis, David Patrick Kelly, Stephen Kunken, Carrie Preston, Christopher Evan Welch and C.J. Wilson.
